Nea, what a nice list to paste beside the morning mirror or on the monitor.
How about just stopping. “Happiness is like a butterfly which, when pursued, is always beyond our grasp, but, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you.” – Nathaniel Hawthorne
What a beautiful quote Ken. Thanks for sharing.

Glad you enjoyed it Kate
Of all the effective list you have provided here, listening to uplifting music has been one of my greatest source of joy. There’s something about music that speaks deep into my heart.
Yes, Walter. Music speaks to the soul.
Dear Nea, this is BEAUTIFUL. A wise (and fun) list to live by. There are so many good ones here, but I really love #13 and #14: Take yourself less seriously. AND Laugh at yourself. I think I like these as we humans tend to take ourselves sooooooooo seriously all the time. My husband is great at finding the humor in even the hardest of times. He creates it. And I love him for it. I do it now too. It’s not that we can’t have a serious conversation, because we can and do, but it’s our laughter that gets us through challenging times.
Your list here is a wonderful reflection of your vitality.
So beautiful.
Hugs to you dear one.
Robin
Thank you Robin. Your relationship with your husband sounds like one to be truly admired. That’s so very encouraging to me. As always, thanks for sharing your positive presence here. So much love to you.
I always love taking spontaneous road trips. Awesome post Nea!
What a nice list. I don’t do most of these nearly enough, and I need to get cracking on it. Luckily, I do some of these on a regular basis, so I figure that means I’m not all that bad.
