The Inner Critic Needs an Eviction Notice
If you feel anything less than boundless love, respect, pride, confidence and trust for yourself; today’s inspirational thoughts are for you.
Listen closely to the voice in your head, carefully considering everything that it says about you, your worth, your potential. Is the inner critic running the show? Does the voice in your head tell you more about what you can’t do than what you can do? Does it focus more on how far you have to go than on how far you’ve come? Does it tell you you’re not good enough, you don’t know enough, you’re not safe enough, you won’t get far enough? Does it tell you that you don’t deserve to put yourself first or to have all that your heart desires? If so, it’s time to give that critical inner voice an eviction notice. Oh how wonderful it would be to wake up in a good mood every single day and to remain in that mood no matter what curve balls life throws your way. As much as I’d love to master that, the truth is that we sometimes have to work at it.
No matter what type of day you’re having, the important thing to know is that you don’t need to remain in a bad mood just because that’s what’s happening at the moment. Believe it or not, you can change your mood. What you’ll find here are 12 ways to do just that.
Get in a Good Mood
1. Reminisce on happy moments. You can’t get in a good mood when you allow the bad mood to determine your thoughts. So, when you’re in a bad mood, instead of getting sucked into the tendency to think about everything that’s ever irritated you, deliberately focus on something that made you feel amazing. Maybe you’ve been mesmerized by the beauty of a certain place or thing. Maybe someone did something special for your birthday one year or something happened that made you laugh. Whether you were 5 or 35, take yourself back mentally to that moment. Remember everything that you can about it: the smells, tastes, sensations and people. Remember exactly how you felt and allow that feeling to take you over. What a wonderful way to change your mood.
2. Laugh out loud (LOL). When you’re laughing, you’re in a good mood—even if it’s just for that moment. But most of us see laughter as the outcome of something funny, exciting or otherwise emotionally stimulating. What if it could be the other way around? Well, actually, it works both ways. When you’re sad or in a bad mood, laughing for absolutely no reason can reconnect you to pure bliss. Just do it and watch your mood soar. Not only will you feel happier, you can enjoy positive, physical changes in the body. Laughter is healing. Pain lessens, the immune system strengthens, you get an energy boost. If Laughter Yoga is available in your area, this is a great way to learn the art of unconditional laughter. Trust me, a crappy mood is no match for a hearty laugh. What are You Waiting For? Ready to Stop Waiting?
What are you waiting for? The right time, place or dollar amount? Are you waiting for the right job, for the kids to grow up or maybe for a sign from the Heavens?
Today’s inspirational thoughts remind you to take a closer look at how much of your life is spent waiting. Waiting to do something, waiting to try something, waiting to go somewhere, waiting to start, waiting to stop, waiting to love, waiting to forgive, waiting to say I’m sorry, waiting to trust, waiting to say goodbye, waiting to say what’s on your mind, waiting to believe in yourself. Love and Relationship Quotes
Love and relationship quotes are a wonderful way to remind ourselves of what it means to say those three little words: “I love you.” Some people spend a lifetime yearning for the happy, healthy relationship that dreams are made of. Many others find true love but allow it to slip through their fingers. And then there are those who treasure the gift of a soul mate with whom they face life’s ups and downs, including relationship problems, while keeping their love alive. We need so much more of the latter.
My wish is that something in these love and relationship quotes will stand out; capturing someone’s heart and leading to a miracle of clarity, forgiveness, understanding or deepening of the love bond between two people.
If you’re not in a love relationship at this time, my wish for you is the strengthening of your love for yourself. When you truly love who you are, you radiate the purest love possible, thereby allowing the attraction of that special someone with whom you can share the loving gifts of your Soul.
I send love to you right now. Please pay it forward.

Your Relationship With Money
Relationships. We read books about relationships, we talk about relationships, we take classes on relationships. Relationships with our partners, our kids, our bosses.
What about your relationship with money?
“But I don’t have a relationship with money!”
That, in a nutshell, is the problem. Having a relationship with money isn’t the same as having a relationship with a person: money isn’t going to say something rude about your mother, forget to clean its room, or forget your birthday. But we have feelings about money, and how we view our money defines our relationship to it.
So, how would you rate your relationship with money? Is it an old friend that you can rely on? Or, if you’re like most people, is it more love/hate – or just hate? Do you waste money and then feel badly? Do you use money to make you feel better and then ignore it until the next time? Are you always wishing you had more? [Keep reading Relationship With Money...]

Inspirational Thoughts on Giving and Receiving
Are you a giver who keeps on giving, often neglecting yourself and rarely receiving anything in return? For your compassion and generosity I say thank you. For every person who has taken your generosity for granted, I say thank you. For every time you went unnoticed and unappreciated, thank you. For caring enough to give of yourself, for wanting to make the world a better place, for acting out of love and oneness with other beings—I say thank you. But there’s something else I want to say.
Everything in life is best when in balance. As you’re giving so much of yourself, remember that giving is at its best when the giver’s “cup” is full. Of course, in order to give and remain full, you must also receive. And in order to receive, you must sometimes ask.
Today’s inspirational thoughts encourage you to honor your need to receive, to embrace the cycle and allow the balance. [Keep reading about giving and receiving...]

When I picked up the cold, frail, lifeless kitten; she wasn’t moving. Her tongue was hanging out, she was unusually tiny, she had missing patches of hair, her eyes hadn’t yet opened and she was barely breathing.
I’d never seen anything so sad and helpless in my life. She was clearly in death’s grip, yet clinging to life nonetheless.
Not knowing how long her shallow breathing would continue, I decided to just hold her until she passed away. I wanted to make sure that, if nothing else, she would not spend the last few moments of her life alone. She could make her transition peacefully while comforted by me, a strange being of a totally different species.
Part of me hoped that the Universe would grant her the gift of a second chance, but I knew it wasn’t likely. I accepted that, but not without a barrage of mixed feelings. I didn’t want her to suffer even for a moment, yet I didn’t want her to die. I was happy to give her warmth and love, yet saddened by the overwhelming odds against her.
I put this precious little darling inside my sweater, her face barely peeking through the V-neck cut. I laid her on my heart, connecting her to my life source as I spoke softly both to her ears and her Soul. [Keep reading Saving a Life...]
